Our Newest Section: Squirrels
Launched in November 2026 with an initial cohort of 12 young people, our Squirrel Drey is off to a flying start! Subject to adult volunteer availability, we plan to double our intake to 24 places over the next two terms.
While our Squirrel section is currently full, we will be taking in more young people as we move forward! Register your interest now by emailing waitinglist@1stwendoverscouts.co.uk to place your child on the waiting list.
Squirrels at 1st Wendover (Ages 4–6)
Squirrels is the youngest section in the Scouting family, designed specifically for 4 and 6-year-olds. It gives young children a gentle, fun-filled introduction to Scouting where they can build confidence, make initial friendships, explore the outdoors, and learn key life skills.
Every week, our Squirrels take part in active games, outdoor discovery, creative crafts, storytelling, and earning their very first Scout badges.
